This debate is co-sponsored and will take place before a live, public audience, moderated by Alyssa Maurice from the  and Buzz Keough from the . It will also be livestreamed by the Hughes Public Policy Center on and available on The Press鈥 website. Major-party candidates, including Republican incumbents Don Guardian and Claire Swift and Democratic challengers Joanne Famularo and Maureen Rowan, have agreed to participate.

The Press and the Hughes Public Policy Center will accept suggested debate questions from members of the public in advance of the event. Only the moderators will pose questions during the debate.
